"Thank you KIm and Sexy Boys for a WOOOONDERFUL NIGHT we had sooo many compliments about you...one lady said.. 'I only came to support your charity.. I don't even like Jazz... but I loved this!' Dave would have enjoyed it too and all the lovely things you said and songs you sang for him. Bless you."

Last month's jam with Kim Cypher was Stroud Jazz Sessions at its tip-top sensational finest - one of our best buzzes yet, many new faces and with the stage positively bustling for jammers. Thank you Kim for that, and thank you for your fantastic performance. Support Kim where you can.

Response: Thanks so much Tommy, I really appreciate your kind words. It was a great night and I was thrilled to be featured as your special guest. The amazing support from everyone who came along and those who took part in the amazing jam session was truly overwhelming. My thanks to everyone xx

Outstanding!

May 27, 2014 by Sali - IWork4UGlos

I had heard that the Kim Cypher Band were good, and now I've seen for myself. Who else can get a crowd of people from 3 years old to 70 dancing in the early afternoon? With songs old and new, delivered in stunning studio quality, the band's friendly vibe was infectious and left everyone with the feel-good factor for the rest of the weekend. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kim and the band for your party or special occasion. They are not only highly professional, they are the nicest bunch of musicians you could meet.

Response: Wow, thanks so much Sali. It was an absolute pleasure being part of your event arranged by IWork4UGlos. Thank you for involving us and I look forward to working with you all again soon x

Jazz At The Big Bang

Jan 29, 2014 by Max Mason - Owner The Big Bang Oxford

You brought the place to life Kim, my thanks – I’ve even been getting emails today from rain-drenched locals who were walking through, having to dash home, but emailed this morning to say how they’d like to have been able to attend, to boost the already strong throng of folks who were enjoying it. You brought warmth to a chilly, wet Winter’s evening

Response: Thanks so much Max, I really appreciate you taking the time to send in your lovely comments, very touched indeed. Thank you! x

Jazz at The Daffodil

Kim is a brilliant saxophonist and classy vocalist. With her full quartet, it was an evening of wonderful music, from jazz standards to funky grooves. A brilliant pre-Christmas treat!

Response: We had a fabulous time performing at the Daffodil once again, great venue, lovely people. Thanks to all who came along and enjoyed our music, especially our jazz version of 'Last Christmas'.

Jazz Festival 2010

May 11, 2010 by Katherine Bayly - Music Critic

One of Gloucestershire's best saxophonists and her band, The Kim Cypher Band, had people off their seats and up dancing as they played their classic funk and jazz beats. Playing a range of covers from Grover Washington's 'Soulful Strut' mixed with the lyrics from Joss Stone's 'Don't Cha Wanna Ride' to the Blues classic, Aretha Franklin's 'Dr Feelgood', this band had everything they needed to entertain their audience.

A great gig by none other than Gloucestershire's Kim Cypher Band.
