The Kim Cypher Quartet was delighted to be invited along to perform for Selina and Matt’s wedding at Manor By The Lake.

It was a fabulous jazzy affair and the guest list was full of amazing musicians!

Firstly, our gorgeous bride Selina could sing and boy did she do a fabulous job when she joined the band to sing ‘Fly Me To The Moon’. Then, the newly weds sang a totally incredible duet together, it was just amazing. Selina and Matt sang so well together, it brought a little tear to my eye. Such a lovely couple and so well suited in every way.

Selina’s musical talent clearly comes from her lovely dad Stephen. We managed to entice him onto the stage to play double bass for a bit of Blues. He was AWESOME!

Then we had Uncle David on guitar, Mike on drums and all rounded off nicely by Steve singing ‘Mustang Sally’.

Such a great night and so much talent.

We feel very privileged to have been part of Selina and Matt’s special day and we wish them every happiness for the future.

We know we’ll keep in touch and they’ll no doubt pop along to our gigs when they can.

Kim. A big thanks to you all for such a brilliant night.

Also thanks for letting me play with the band. It has made me pick up my bass and start to practice once more and maybe find some like musicians to play with.

Hope to see you all again some time.

    Stephen (father of the bride)
